ttrack is currently in private beta and probably will be for a little while. Only whitelisted Twitter users are able to try the service at this time.

Your Ttrack account

No need to register, as we're using your Twitter account to authenticate. Anyone with a valid Twitter account is able to use Ttrack. Really as simple as that!

On ttrack

Ttrack (pronounced t-track) basically is an URL shortener and influence analyzer combined. Ttrack is aimed to be used with microblog services, focusing on Twitter.

Ttrack will keep track of all clicks on your short links and calculate your tweettrough rate (TTR), similar to the commonly used clickthrough rate (CTR). Combined with other metrics, we'll determine a user's overall influence.

What's in it for me?

While the tweetthrough rate (TTR) is an interesting measure, ttrack's most interesting feature probably is its ability to add context to a short URL (major drawback of URL shorteners).

While typically you need to click a short link to know where it's heading, ttrack's URL structure contains a rating from 1 (few influence) to 9 (highly influential), indicating the author's influence.

Private beta

We're currently testing and experimenting, allowing only a limited number of users to participate in the private beta. If your Twitter account is not whitelisted, you won't be able to try ttrack yet.

We are looking for test users though. If you want to give ttrack a try (and provide us with feedback), send us an email (we may not be able to whitelist you instantly).
